Dr. Danny Oh
Managing Director and Principal Trainer

Dr Danny Oh is the Managing Director of Cambrian Academy. He is a PhDb holder in Business Management, University of South Australia, MSc in Construction Management, Dundee University, Scotland. He has several years of experience in the Workplace Safety and Health sector and has extensive knowledge in training and development for adult learners.


Mr. Han Wenqi
Associate Trainer

Mr Han Wenqi has extensive experience and expertise in the field of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) education, actively contributing to the HSE education arena and sharing valuable insights on various HSE topics. He has held the position of Associate Lecturer in the Master of Science program in Occupational Health & Safety and Well-Being at Cardiff Metropolitan University, where he has made significant contributions to the delivery of the curriculum. Additionally, he has a diverse professional background as an Adult Educator, Curriculum Developer and WSH (Workplace Safety and Health) Consultant across multiple sectors including Manufacturing, Process Logistics & Transportation, Construction, Oil & Gas/Marine, showcasing his versatility and ability to adapt his knowledge and skills to various industries.


Mr. Abdul Halim
Associate Trainer

Mr Abdul Halim has a strong background in the field of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH), with experience in different roles and organizations. He served as the Secretary to the WSH Committee in ST Engineering Marine Ltd, where he held the position of Senior Engineer (EHS), demonstrating his responsibility and involvement in managing and promoting safety within the company. Prior to that, he worked as an HSE Officer at Sembawang Shipyard Pte Ltd, gaining practical experience in implementing and enforcing safety protocols. He is also a certified Confined Space Assessor, regularly assessing and endorsing confined spaces both on ships and within the shipyard and workshops. Additionally, since 2015, he has been conducting WSQ/SSIC courses in General, Hot Work, and Painting Trade, sharing his expertise and knowledge in these areas.
